African Safari

Rwanda's number one industry is tourism. Every year over half a million people visit its amazing forests, mountains and plains. We decided as part of our itinerary, visiting Akagera Narional Park was a must.

For many of us, this was our first African trip and it would not be complete without a park visit to see some incredible views and the amazing creatures.

We saw many animals including hippos, Cape buffalos, Impalas, topi's, water buck, vervet monkeys, giraffes, elephants, zebras, baboons, warthogs, antelopes, Cape Eland, termites and many different species of birds.

And on the way there we saw, waved to, talked to, hi fived and shared a smile with thousands of Rwandans.
