Visiting the Orphanage in Kigale

Today, we traveled to the SOS orphanage in Kigali with Emmanuel and Innocent, the Neils good friends. They have been teaching many of the children there how to paint through Emmanuel's art studio. We started our visit there by meeting with several 'households' and were introduced to the children and their teenage leader.

We then handed out recorders and demonstrated how to play them. They were all very excited and really enjoyed just spent time with us. We laughed, we taught how to play, we took many photos and hugged and held hands and in what was a very short time built a connection with an incredible group of children.

Jesus said 'let the children come to me' and we were so fortunate in how these children truly blessed all of us.
